Tunisia: smuggled medicines worth $15,000 seized in a car at Tunisia-Algeria border

tunisiaOn 28 November, Feriana authorities (Kasserine Governorate) seized 125 boxes of smuggled medicines from a car entering Tunisia from Algeria. The seize was worth $15,000. The medicines were intended for use as anesthetics and dental treatments. This operation is part of the fight against illicit trafficking which is currently enforced by Tunisian and Algerian patrols on the border between both countries.
