On the evening of the 7 December, Sfax customs officers (east Tunisia) intercepted a Libyan ambulance which was transporting illicit medicines worth €40,000. The haul included 1,000 boxes of neuroleptics (without prescription), cold remedies, paracetamol and anti-diabetic treatments, etc. The ambulance driver admitted that it was the 6th time that he had carried out clandestine imports to Tunisia. The investigators arrested the latter and are trying to identify the other network members.
