Gabon: 50 sellers of counterfeit medicines arrested

On Friday, May 23, prosecutors in Libreville process arrested fifty sellers of counterfeit pharmaceuticals.

This operation to stop the proliferation of “pharmacies on the floor” and street sellers was conducted in the markets of Mont-Bouet, Nkembo and PK8.

Among the discovered products, though banned from sale products, many pharmaceutical products such as “Nuravit” and “Black Diamond” are still illegally sold in Libreville.

Other markets will be inspected soon.
